May and June sure have been a busy and stressful two months involving my final exams to end college. Now they are finally over, I have a very exciting season to look forward to and into my gap year before I attend university.
During the last few months (and following Keysoe CDI in March), our partnership has grown greatly. Last week we competed at Hickstead Premier League coming 3rd in our first Young Rider Individual attempt. Over my exams, my normal training routine was challenging, however Will tired his best for me and I was very glad we had a go!
In June, myself and Will were told we reached the Italian European Championship short list. This was a massive achievement to be amongst some top riders in my field. Sadly we did not reach the core four team, however it was a dream come true to be in contention, putting us both in a positive position to aim for the Young Rider European Team in 2018.
Next week I have another lesson with both David and Alison in preparation for the Petplan festival competing at PSG level. Also, we have lots of local competitions coming up to practice my new music floor plan as I have been chosen to represent Italy at the end of July during Hickstead CDI.
A few more bits of news to announce over the next month so keep your eyes peeled...
